<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To support maintenance work related to replacement of a hardware component in an industry-oriented device comprising a plurality of hardware components by predicting deterioration of the device when the device includes a hardware component not having accumulation of sufficient knowledge, such as a newly developed hard ware component, and providing a replacement criterion allowing advance decision of whether or not performance deterioration of the device is within an allowable range. <P>SOLUTION: In this replacement component presentation method wherein a terminal device connected to the device including the plurality of hardware components presents the hardware component to be replaced in the device, the terminal device predicts improvement effect in the whole sequence when replacing the hardware component based on sequence information, performance information of the hardware component when it is a new article, and future performance information, and presents the hardware component to be replaced based on the predicted improvement effect. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT |
