<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve the problem that controllability of torque drops upon switching control from that by a torque feedback control part 30 to that by a current feedback control part 20. <P>SOLUTION: The current feedback control part 20 performs maximum torque control. A voltage estimator 48 estimates a norm of a voltage vector for achieving estimation torque Te by maximum torque control with estimation torque Te and electric angle speed ω as inputs.
