PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To search for a route by designating a transfer allowable time allowed as a transfer time at a connection place of a means of transportation, when searching for a candidate route from an optional starting place to a destination by using the means of transportation. SOLUTION: This navigation system 10 includes: an operation inputting means 26 for inputting a route searching condition including the transfer allowable time allowed as the transfer time at the connection place of the means of transportation; and a network data editing means 36 for extracting network data aiming at a transferable means of transportation within the transfer allowable time input from the operation inputting means 26 from among network data of the means of transportation included in network data for route search. When the transfer allowable time is included in the route searching condition, a route searching means 33 searches for the optimum route, based on the network data extracted by the network data editing means 36.
