PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a steering column device that firmly supports a locked state of a steering column tube via an outer tube. SOLUTION: Each side plate 12, 13 of an upper clamp 7 fixed to a vehicle body 23 has each clamp projecting-end 12a, 13a that is arranged so as to sandwich an outer tube 4 therebetween and protrudingly provided on the inner-face side of both ends in the vehicle longitudinal direction. The outer tube 4 has tube projecting-ends 33a-33d protrudingly provided on the outer-face side of both ends in the vehicle vertical direction. The outer tube 4 is supported to the upper clamp 7 via the clamp projecting-ends 12a, 13a and contact parts T1-T4 composed of the tube projecting-ends 33a-33d. COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT |
