PURPOSE: A cosmetic composition containing linolenic acid is provided to ensure an excellent melanocyte migration effect and to treat vitiligo without side effects. CONSTITUTION: A cosmetic composition for treating vitiligo contains 0.001-30 wt% of linolenic acid. The linolenic acid is gamma-linolenic acid or alpha-linolenic acid. The cosmetic composition further contains arbutin or a Lespedeza bicolor extract. The cosmetic composition also contains a carrier or an excipient. The cosmetic composition also contains an antioxidant or/and a UV protection agent. The composition is manufactured in the form of a skin softener, a toner, a lotion, a nutrition cream, a massage cream, an essence, a pack, a soap, a shampoo, a cleanser, a bathing agent, or a gel. |
