PURPOSE: A mobile terminal, a control method thereof, and recording medium for the same are provided to supply input convenience to a user by displaying a sub screen which reduces the entire screen. CONSTITUTION: A control unit (180) controls the display unit in order to display a sub screen. The sub screen is displayed on the whole screen. The control unit stores a coordinate of the sub screen and a coordinate of the entire screen. The control unit displays the sub screen in case the coordinate of the entire screen corresponding to the coordinate selected through user input is hidden by the sub screen.
