Orthogonal frequency division multiplexing method with differential phase shift compensation

Two RF-pilots are inserted in a guard space of an OFDM POLMUX signal. The optical carriers of the RF-pilots are separated by a frequency difference of about 100 MHz or de-correlated. At the receiver, two phase correction signals are derived from the RF-pilots and the phase noise of the orthogonal OFDM signals are corrected separately.
