<p>A transition duct for routing a gas flow from a combustor to the first stage of a turbine section in a combustion turbine engine has an internal passage from an inlet to an outlet. The outlet may include canted sides that reduce formation of damaging vibration in downstream turbine blades caused by downstream wake between adjacent transition ducts and by pressure differentials between adjacent transition ducts that include turning sections.</p> |
