A method for treating suppurative-septic complications in the syndrome of diabetic foot or the vacuum sanitization. Following the mechanical sanitization, the sponge of polyurethane foam (pore size of 500 µm) with perforated drainage, which is shaped matching the size of the wound, is installed in the wound. The end of the drainage is connected to vacuum device for maintaining the minimal negative pressure (0.1-0.2 atm). Over the day, the vacuum is applied in a fraction mode with one-hour intervals followed by one-hour exposure to antiseptic solution. |
