PURPOSE: A guard rail for a vehicle is provided to prevent the vehicle from breaking away because a pillar is bent due to the impact of the vehicle. CONSTITUTION: A guard rail for a vehicle comprises a pillar (110), an upper rail (121), a lower rail (122), a buffer member (140), and a reinforcement plate (130). The pillar is vertically installed on the ground at predetermined intervals and comprises a plurality of long grooves (111) on an outer circumference in an inner diameter direction. The upper rail and the lower rail are separated on the whole surface of the pillar at regular intervals and are installed in a transverse direction side by side. The buffer member is installed between the upper rail or the lower rail and the pillar and absorbs the impact caused by the collision of the vehicle. The reinforcement plate is fixed to the upper rail and the lower rail in between the pillars and fixes the upper rail and the lower rail.
