PURPOSE: A filter assembly of an air conditioner for a vehicle is provided to be fracturable in order to be rigid without being bent when not fracturing and to be foldable in the insertion direction of an air conditioner case when fracturing. CONSTITUTION: A filter assembly of an air conditioner for a vehicle is fracturable in order to be rigid without being bent when not fracturing. The filter assembly is foldable in the insertion direction of an air conditioner case when fracturing. The filter assembly (160) comprises a first filter part (160a), a second filter part (160b), a hinge part (163), and a fracture part (164). The hinge part interconnects the first filter part with the second filter part to be foldable. The fracture part maintains the connected state of the first and second filter parts. The fracture part disconnects the first filter part from the second filter part when the filter assembly fractures.
