METHOD FOR CONTACT LASER LITHOTRIPSY OF LARGE URETERAL CALCULI

A method for the contact laser lithotripsy of the large ureteral calculi provides for the use of the reservoir with irrigation fluid. Preoperatively, transcutaneous puncture nephrostomy on the affected side is performed for controlling pelvic pressure. In 3-10 days following the installment of the nephrostomic drainage, the contact laser lithotripsy is performed with accompanying continuous irrigation of ureter for washing out the small fragments of calculi.
