摘要 FIELD: physics.SUBSTANCE: invention can be used when monitoring the bulk stress condition of the environment in an earthquake-prone region and forecasting strong earthquakes. According to the disclosed solution, in addition to continuous monitoring of seismoacoustic emission at internal points of the environment, observations are made in frequency and spatially spread channels, and extensive air showers and muons are detected. Correlation of the time of arrival of extensive air showers and muons with the time of arrival of seismoacoustic emission signals is established and localisation of seismoacoustic emission sources is also determined. The bulk stress condition of the environment is determined from amplitude, spectra and repetition frequency of seismoacoustic emission signals in background mode and seismoacoustic emission signals induced by muons. The sign of an approaching earthquake is the behaviour of the amplitude and spectrum of seismoacoustic emission typical for a given region and increase in repetition frequency of seismoacoustic emission signals.EFFECT: high accuracy of forecasting catastrophic phenomena.
