PURPOSE: An operating system of a gas separating plant is provided to minimize energy consumption and actively manage the production of gas by guiding the operating plan of a gas separating plant in real time according to requirements for gas production. CONSTITUTION: An operating system of a gas separating plant comprises a process control system (300). The process control system comprises a database unit (310), an analyzing unit (320), and a control unit (330). The database unit collects and stores energy, production, and facility information from facilities for a plant (100) which generates gas by separating the gas from the air. The analyzing unit analyzes at least one of correlations between energy state, gas production state, facility efficiency, and other data using the information collected by the database unit. The control unit diagnoses problems in the plant using the analyzed information and guides an optimal operating plan for the plant.
