PURPOSE: A poly m-phenylene terephthal amide composition is provided to have an excellent mechanical property about an extension because of a high crystalline property and a high orientation property and have a high intensity and a high modulus of elasticity by a strong interaction between polymer chains which are caused by a hydrogen bond. CONSTITUTION: A poly m-phenylene terephthal amide composition is formed by polymerizing m-phenylenediamine and terephthaloyl chloride by using N-methylpyrrolidone which includes CaCl2 as a solvent. The m-phenylenediamine and the terephthaloyl chloride has 99% or greater percentage of purity which is vacuum-sublimated in a 0.1-1 torr. The m-phenylenediamine and the terephthaloyl chloride are polymerized at a mole ratio of 1:0.8 - 1.2. CaCl2 is mixed with 'N-methylpyrrolidone which includes the CaCl2' in the amount of 1-5 weight%.
