PURPOSE: A cassette locking apparatus of an automated teller machine is provided to improve the safety and reliability of a cassette by preventing the arbitrary opening and closing of a shutter. CONSTITUTION: A first shutter locking part (140) and a second shutter locking part (150) are rotationally arranged in both sides of a shutter (120) to control the movement of the shutter so that the opening and closing of an entrance can be controlled. A shutter opening and closing lever (240) forms a first unlocking protrusion (242) and a second unlocking protrusion (243). The first and second unlocking protrusions are formed in a cassette accommodation part. When a cassette is accommodated, the ends of the first and second locking protrusions are inserted in the lower part of the cassette so that the first and second shutter locking parts can be unlocked. When the cassette draws into or out from the cassette accommodation part, a first hooking unit (160) and a second hooking unit (170) control the rotation of the first and second shutter locking parts.
