PURPOSE: A cutter of a printer is provided to control a cutting module stably when using a printer and to efficiently cut printing paper. CONSTITUTION: A cutter of a printer includes a housing unit (10), a movable member (20), a motor unit, a gear unit, and an eccentric disc. A paper feeding roller and a fixed blade of the housing unit, which are joined to be integrated, are installed on the upper part of one side of the housing unit to be detachable. The movable member selectively reciprocates and makes a movable blade in one side interlock with the fixed blade. The motor unit receives predetermined control signals and generates a driving force in a normal direction or a reverse direction. The gear unit includes: a driving gear (40) installed on a driving shaft of the motor; a deceleration gear (42) engaged with the driving gear; an idle gear engaged with a shaft gear under the deceleration gear; and a driven gear (48) which is engaged and interlocked with the idle gear. Guide protrusions are joined to the center of the driven dear. |
