FIELD: transport.SUBSTANCE: proposed template comprises grippers and retainers of body elements to be installed. Template allow arranging said grippers and retainers in orthogonal first vertical direction Z, second horizontal direction X and third horizontal direction Y relative to body carcass. Template comprises bearing and mobile frames. Bearing frame rests vertically on body carcass to support the templates structure. Mobile frame is articulated with bearings frame to comprise aforesaid grippes and retainers. Mobile frame allows mounting body elements in X and Y directions. Bearing frame allows mounting mobile frame in Z direction. Automobile comprises body and front fenders to be fitted in place with the help of template. Method of assembling said automobile comprises attaching front fender to body carcass and the following consecutive steps: installing upper fenders at mobile frame, mounting bearing frame to rest on body carcass, mounting mobile frame in position corresponding to X direction, locating mobile frame in position corresponding to Y direction and attachment of upper fenders.EFFECT: efficient an reliable assembly.14 cl, 9 dwg |
