CONNECTOR AND BACK LIGHT UNIT HAVING THE SAME

PURPOSE: A connector and a backlight unit equipped with the same are provided to insert an accommodation part of the connector into a cut-out part of a first circuit board, accommodate an insertion part of a second circuit board into the accommodation part, and enable a first terminal of the connector to elastically contact with a second terminal of the insertion part, thereby omitting a separate female connector. CONSTITUTION: A housing (210) is mounted on a first circuit board (10). A cut-out part (11) is formed at one end of the first circuit board. An accommodation part (220) protrudes from the bottom surface of the housing and is inserted into the cut-out part. The accommodation part accommodates an insertion part (21) protruding from a second circuit board (20). A first terminal (230) is mounted on the housing and connected with the first circuit board. The first terminal elastically applies pressure to a second terminal (22) of the insertion part in order to electrically connect the first and the second circuit boards.
