The invention relates to welding, in particular to gas-shielded welding with pulsed feed of a consumable electrode, and can be used for design, manufacture and operation of a semiautomatic machine for welding steels and aluminum alloys. In a mechanized welding process with pulsed feed of a consumable electrode, wherein to a control unit of a feeder of welding wire a signal is supplied corresponding to at least one parameter of the mode of pulsed feed of the electrode wire, which influences frequency of short circuits, for setting the feeder for pulsed mode of welding at least two test welds with wire feed are carried out under constant rate until reaching a stable welding process with required quality of weld formation followed by fixing frequency of short-circuits and welding current and their averaging. As a control signal to the control unit of welding wire feeder said averaged values are entered in the form of frequency, shape and pitch of pulsed feed of the electrode wire. The pulse shape is changed in case of need to adjust the frequency, shape, and pitch of pulsed feed. Thanks to the possibility of setting the pulse of electrode wire feed in the form of frequency, shape and pitch of feed and enabling implementation of the welding process with forced forming of droplets of molten electrode metal with a predetermined frequency regardless of the dynamics of the system of wire feed the removal of the risk of disturbance of the process and possibility of using structurally simplified equipment is achieved. |
