METHOD FOR MECHANIZED GROWING OF POTATOES ON THE SURFACE OF A FIELD

A method for mechanized growing of potatoes on the surface of a field includes planting potato tubers by potato planters, protecting the plants against pests and diseases by spraying with pesticides, harvesting by potato diggers and potato-harvesting machines. Potato planting is carried out by potato planters onto the surface of a field without incorporating the tubers into the soil and they are covered with a layer of straw from body-type broadcasters of solid organic fertilizers or body-type feed-dispensers. Said straw, prior to harvesting the yield of potato tubers, is preliminary picked up of the potato rows by straw pickups and swathed or scattered onto the areas of the field freed from the harvest.
