PURPOSE: An expansion joint system for a bridge with a replaceable seat and a maintenance method using the same are provided to improve work and cost efficiency by enabling the easy and simple replacement and cleaning of a seat. CONSTITUTION: An expansion joint system(1) for a bridge with a replaceable seat comprises a pair of base plates(3), finger blocks(2), a seat(6), and multiple seat fixing pieces(7). The base plates are fixed by bar arrangement bodies installed in the front ends of bridge upper structures adjacent to each other. Each base plate has a horizontal portion(3a) and a vertical portion(3b). The finger blocks are fixed to the horizontal portions of the base plates using fixing bolts(5), and multiple fingers(2a) are arranged thereon. The seat is arranged between the base plates, and both ends thereof have curve portions(6a). The seat fixing pieces fix the curve portions of the seat to the vertical portions of the base plate. |
