PURPOSE: A sliding window for facilitating lateral direction changes is provided to ensure user convenience by preventing a window from shaking while opening or closing the window and to improve the durability of a window by absorbing impacts applied to the window. CONSTITUTION: A sliding window for facilitating lateral direction changes comprises a window frame (200) and a window (300). The window frame comprises a guide unit (230) and a pocket. The guide unit is formed on a lateral side among a rail (210), a shield plate, or a side plate. The guide unit comprises a guide surface. A relative distance between the guide surface and the lateral side of the rail varies. The pocket is formed on the rail, the shield plate, or the side plate to face the guide unit. The window comprises a plurality of follow units (250) on the longitudinal side. |
