PURPOSE: A display broadcast transmitting method is provided to efficiently transceive a caption in a transmission environment based on an open cable and a cable ready standard. CONSTITUTION: A caption descriptor includes caption information and information about the number of caption services included in an MPEG-2 TS(Transport Stream). If the caption information is caption data providing a digital television closed caption service according to EIA(Electronic Industry Association)-708, a value is set. If the caption data supplies a line 21 closed caption service according to the EIA-708, the value is cleared. |
