PURPOSE: A stereo image encoding method, and a device thereof are provided to encode left and right eye images at the same time considering a time correlation of each screen and a correlation among screens during encoding stereo images, thereby improving the coding ability. CONSTITUTION: An encoding device stores inputted left eye image and right eye image in a buffer temporarily (S600). The encoding device encodes the screen of the left eye image (S610).
