Class 20(3) In a power actuated vehicle window raising and lowering mechanism of the kind in which a constant torque reversible electric motor 2 is used for effecting the raising and lowering of the window, the fact that, due to the weight of the window, lowering would be effected at a great speed than raising, is compensated for by connecting a resistance 4 in series with the power supply when a switch 3 is operated to energize the motor 2 for lowering the window. In an alternative arrangement the resistance 4 is replaced by a resistance 4a as shown in dotted lines.</p> |
