Class 89(1) A weld-nut comprises an elongated body 1 having a centrally-disposed screwedhole 3 extended on one side by a pilotportion 2, and welding-projection P on the same side as the pilot and extending laterally of the body-axis. The projections have curved-surfaces or may have flatsides 6. The body-ends 1a,1b are curved concentrically with the hole 3. In a modification, the projections are arcuate and concentric with the hole.
