PURPOSE: An apparatus for providing golf information is provided to provide information about ground gradient and gradient direction, and to provide information about ground gradient in a specific direction that a player desires. CONSTITUTION: An apparatus for providing golf information (1110) comprises a case mounted with a battery supplying power; an accelerating sensor part which detects acceleration of 3-axial direction; a gradient-measuring part which measures ground gradient by using the acceleration of 3-axial direction; a display part which displays the gradient; and a mode control part which automatically senses attachment into or detachment from a mounted state. The mode control part is converted into a waiting mode when sensing attachment into the mounted state, and is converted into an incline-measuring mode when sensing detachment from the mounted state.
