PURPOSE: A cooling and heating method for a sensor is provided to rapidly preheat laser diode in extreme situations and function as cooling and preheating laser diode by using a nickel chrome heating wire device and a Peltier module. CONSTITUTION: A cooling and heating method for a sensor comprises the following steps: receiving temperature data values from one or more temperature sensors using a control unit; comparing the temperature data values with a predetermined reference value using the control unit; heating or cooling a sensor by implementing one or more modes among a heating wire device operation mode, an thermoelement operation mode, and a cooling fan operation mode according to the comparison result using the control unit.
