<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a medical information management system, capable of managing a user's physical characteristic while allowing the user to refer to the physical characteristic and to set the propriety of disclosure thereof. <P>SOLUTION: A physical characteristic information provision request means 11 transmits, upon receipt of a registration request of physical characteristic information with designation of a medical institution from a user terminal 40, a physical characteristic information providing request including a user ID to a corresponding medical institution terminal 50. A physical characteristic information registration means 12 registers the physical characteristic information provided from the medical institution terminal 50 which received the physical characteristic information providing request in a physical characteristic information database 20 in association with the user ID and a disclosure condition designated by the user. A physical characteristic information search means 13 searches for, upon receipt of a disclosure request of physical characteristic information with designation of a user from the medical institution terminal 50, the registered physical characteristic information from the database 20.
