PURPOSE: A manufacturing method of an N,N,N'N'-tetraphenylbenzidine is provided to obtain an N,N,N'N'-tetraphenylbenzidine with high yield and productivity by using a specific nickel-based catalyst. CONSTITUTION: A manufacturing method of an N,N,N'N'-tetraphenylbenzidine represented by chemical formula 1 comprises a reaction of a diarylamino represented by chemical formula 3 and a halogenated aryl represented by chemical formula 4, under the presence of a nickel-based catalyst represented by chemical formula 2, a base, and a solvent. In chemical formula 1, each of R2, R3, R4, R'2, R'3, and R'4 is selected from H, CH3, OCH3, but all of them are not H. In chemical formula 3, each of R2, R3, R4, R'2, R'3, and R'4 is not selected from H, CH3, and OCH3, but all of them are not H. In chemical formula 4, each of R1 and R'1 is selected from Cl, Br, and I.
