FIELD: chemistry.SUBSTANCE: method involves reacting poly-3,3-bis(chloromethyl)oxetane with sodium azide in a dimethyl formamide medium according to the scheme:where the reaction is carried out in ratio poly-3,3-bis(chloromethyl)oxetane:dimethyl formamide = 1:5-7 g/ml and temperature of 125°C, to obtain a polymer in finely dispersed form after nucleophilic substitution of chlorine with an azide group in the poly-3,3-bis(chloromethyl)oxetane; the mixture of reaction products of synthesis of poly-3,3-bis(azidomethyl)oxetane is subjected to low temperatures ranging from minus 5°C to minus 10°C for 1.5-2.0 hours, mixed with water in ratio of the AP solution in DMF: water of 1.0:1.0-2.0 ml/ml; dimethyl formamide is reused during polymer synthesis after neutralising washing water containing sodium chloride, sodium azide and dimethyl formamide using sodium nitrite in the presence of hydrochloric acid, wherein in order to reduce the drop in molecular weight during synthesis, the reaction is carried out in the presence of argon gas by passing the argon gas through the reaction mixture at a rate of 5-10 ml/min.EFFECT: reducing undesirable destructive processes when producing said compound in finely dispersed form and preserving molecular weight of the end polymer on the level of the initial polymer, thereby ensuring improved deformation and strength properties of the polymer.1 ex, 1 tbl |
