PURPOSE: A pneumatic tire is provided to improve durability by preventing a carcass located in a bead unit from being damaged. CONSTITUTION: A pneumatic tire (1) comprises a bead unit (10) and a cover member (20). The cover member is located between the bead unit and a carcass (30). One side of the cover member is located in a turn-up part of the carcass and encloses a bead core (11) of the bead unit. The other side of the cover unit comes into contact with bead filler (12,13) of the bead unit. The one side of the cover member connected to the bead core is bent in a round shape, and the other side of the cover member is connected to a corner of the bead core which includes the radius of curvature.
