PURPOSE: A solar cell generating system in which power quality is improved and an operating method thereof are provided to improve a power factor using current controlled voltage source inverter (CCVSI) only. CONSTITUTION: A photocell module transforms optical energy into electric energy. An inverter (160) transforms direct current (DC) voltage into alternating current (AC) voltage. A filter part delivers output of the inverter to an output terminal. A voltage source inverter (VSI) pulse controller (500) controls the operation of the inverter with pulse width modulation (PWM). A PWM driver (520) drives the inverter with a PWM method.
