PURPOSE: An X-ray imaging apparatus is provided to minimize possibility of malfunction through an automatically operating power supply and cut off function. CONSTITUTION: An X-ray imaging apparatus includes a generator, a detector, a compression pad and transport units (160,170). The generator irradiates X-ray to an imaging object. The detector detects the X-ray transmitted through the imaging object. The compression pad is prepared in between the generator and detector. The transport units move the compression pad farther or closer. The transport units include driving shafts (164a,765a), conversion belts (166,766) and clutches (170,770). The driving shafts are rotated by rotation of a motor. The conversion belts are rotated by rotation of a first pulley and are engaged with the compression pad. The clutches selectively connect the driving shaft with the rotation of the first pulley by on/off of power. |
