GINTONIN CONSIST OF GINSENG MAJOR LATEX-LIKE PROTEINS AND GINSENG RNASE-LIKE MAJOR STORAGE PROTEIN AS PROTEIN COMPONENT

PURPOSE: A gintonin comprising a protein with a ginseng ribonuclease like a major storage protein and a ginseng major latex like a protein is provided to be used on understanding various physiological and pharmacological activities of gintonin through lysophosphatidic acid (LPA) receptor activity by gintonin combined with lysophosphatidic acid (LPA) by verifying protein composition of gintonin. CONSTITUTION: A glycolipoprotein gintonin isolated and identified from a ginseng comprises a protein composition of a ginseng major latex like protein (MLP151) and a ginseng ribonuclease like major storage protein. The ginseng major latex like protein (MLP151) includes the amino acid sequcen of sequence number 1 through 4. The ginseng major latex like protein (MLP151) comprises the amino acid sequcne of sequcne number 5, and has three N-glycosylation sites. The ginseng ribonuclease like major storage protein includes the amino acide sequence of sequence number 6 through 10. The ginseng major latex like protein (MLP151) and the ginseng ribonuclease like major storage protein combine with lysophosphatidic acid (LPA).
