PURPOSE: A switched reluctance motor is provided to reduce torque ripple by generating a reluctance court between a rotor and a stator. CONSTITUTION: A switched reluctance motor includes a rotor unit and a stator unit. The rotor unit includes a rotor core (100) and a rotor pole (110) protrusively formed from a rotor core. The stator unit includes a stator yoke (200) and a stator salient (210) protrusively formed from the stator yoke. The ratio of the number of poles between the stator salient and rotor pole consists of 6 × n + 9 : 6 × n + 9 + 1 where n is 0 and the positive integer.
