PURPOSE: A road blocking device selectively blocking the entrance of a road is provided to stably prevent safety accidents frequently generated on a crosswalk by being installed on the crosswalk and by selectively blocking a vehicle and pedestrians according to a signal of traffic lights. CONSTITUTION: A road blocking device (100) selectively blocking the entrance of a road comprises a fixed frame (10), a movable body (20), a mounting plate (30), a blocking rod (40), a movable frame (50), and a transfer unit (60). An insertion groove (11) is formed on the upper part of the fixed frame. The movable body is connected to the fixed frame with a hinge (22) in order to relatively rotate on the fixed frame. The mounting plate is connected to the movable body. The lower part of the blocking rod is mounted on a mounting groove of the mounting plate and is fixed. The movable frame is located on one side of the upper part of the movable body or on both sides and is individually connected to a plurality of the movable body with a hinge (51). The transfer unit is located at the end of the movable frame and pushes or pulls the movable frame in order to rotate the movable body so that the blocking rod is closely put down on the ground or is stood up.
