PURPOSE: A base for a motor and a hard disk drive including the same are provided to effectively seal the inner space of a base by forming an outer wall part through bending the end part of a base body. CONSTITUTION: A base body comprises a spindle motor. An outer wall part (120) is formed by bending the end part of the base body. The outer wall part comprises an inside wall part and an outside wall part (126). At least a part of the outside wall part is cut. The outside wall part vertically extended at the base body. A cover (200) is combined with the inner space of the base for a motor for sealing.
