<p>PURPOSE: A heating apparatus for a railway vehicle is provided to allow the same to adhere to the wall of the vehicle, thereby minimizing the size of a space for installing the same. CONSTITUTION: A heating apparatus (100) for a railway vehicle includes a casing (101), blowing fans, heaters, filtering members, access doors (150,250), and a controller. The casing is partitioned into a first space (110) and a second space by a partition (103). Air flows into inlets (211) at the respective sides of the first and the second space. Outlets are formed at the casing, and the air flows out of the outlets perpendicular to the inlets. The blowing fans are respectively installed at the first and the second space, and discharge the air from the inlets to the outlets. The heaters are respectively installed at the outlets, and heat the air from the inlets. The filtering members are respectively installed at the inlets, and filter the air from the inlets. The access doors are installed at the casing, and respectively open or close the first and the second space. The controller controls the blowing fans and the heaters.</p> |
