INK COMPOSITION, METHOD OF PREPARING THE SAME, AND DISPLAY PANEL HAVING THE SAME

PURPOSE: An ink composition is provided to improve dispersion stability by introducing an organic metal monomer having excellent affinity with low dielectric materials and to have excellent electrophoretic performance by intruding a hydrophilic organic metal monomer with high polarity. CONSTITUTION: An ink composition comprises an ink particle which is core-shell coated with one or more ionized hydrophilic organic metal compounds and one or more lipophilic organic metal compounds; a dispersing agent; and a dielectric fluid. A manufacturing method of the ink composition comprises a step of preparing a core-shell coated pigment particle; a step of preparing the core-shell coated pigment particle, a solvent, and a halogen compound to prepare the ink particle coated with the ionized metal compounds; and a step of mixing the ink particle, dispersing agent, and dielectric fluid.
