NEUTRON GENERATING APPARATUS AND METHOD THEREOF

PURPOSE: Neutron generation apparatus and method are provided to increase potential difference by using a pyroelectric crystal longer than existing length of 10 mm. CONSTITUTION: A sealed container (30) fills deuterium gas inside. The sealed container attaches a neutron target in an upper end. A pyroelectric crystal (11) is installed inside of the sealed container. A radiation irradiation instrument (21) surrounds the periphery of the pyroelectric crystal. The radiation irradiation instrument irradiates radiation to the pyroelectric crystal.
