PURPOSE: A method for preparing D-allose using a novel ribose-5-phosphate isomerase or mutant thereof is provided to suppress cell proliferation. CONSTITUTION: A ribose-5-phosphate isomerase contains a base of sequence number 1. A recombinant expression vector, pET28a(+)/ribose-5-phosphate isomerase, contains ribose-5-phosphate gene. A method for preparing ribose-5-phosphate isomerase comprises: a step of preparing the expression vector including a gene encoding ribose-5-phosphate isomerase; a step of culturing microbes transformed by the expression vector; a step of isolating/purifying ribose-5-phosphate isomerase from the microbes. |
