The present invention relates to an apparatus for printing on a portable phone case, and to a method for operating same, and has the object of providing an apparatus for printing on a portable phone case, and a method for operating same, which allows a user to selectively print and use an assortment of designs, photos, phrases, and the like on the outer surface of a portable phone case of a leather and silicone material which encloses the portable phone, and allows a portable phone case having a higher level of individuality and aesthetics to be provided. Thus, according to the present invention, the apparatus for printing on a portable phone case is operated by performing the steps of: selecting the manufacturer of the portable phone being used through a key input unit provided via a touch screen in accordance with the portable phone manufacturers listed on a display unit; selecting the model name by manufacturer through the key input unit according to the model names listed by portable phone manufacturer on the display unit; selecting the material for the case on which to print, which is listed on the display unit; selecting a design to be printed according to a guide on the display unit; providing a guide for the setting method for the case shown on the display unit; and printing a selected image on the case through the selection of a print button on the key input unit by the user. |
