PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve a problem of obstruction or the like of discharge of a label by a peeling bar when discharging the label while temporarily adhering it to a mount or using a mount-free label continuum in a peeling device or the like peeling off the label from the mount and discharging it.SOLUTION: A peeling device includes a platen roller drawing out a label continuum from a roll body and conveying it, a peeling member disposed at a first position for abutting on the label continuum conveyed by the platen roller to peel off the label from the mount in a first state of peeling off the label from the mount and discharging it, and disposed at a second position for withdrawing from a discharge course of the label continuum conveyed by the platen roller in a second state of discharging the printed label while leaving it temporarily adhered onto the mount, and a moving part operated to switch between the first state and the second state to move the peeling member between the first position and the second position. |
