PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a long electric wire protection pipe having a flat outer shape by performing an easy press working process while avoiding warpage.SOLUTION: An electric wire protection pipe 1 is a metal pipe enclosing a periphery of an electric wire 9. A reinforcement part 11 and a flat pipe part 1Y are formed in the electric wire protection pipe 1. The reinforcement part 11 is a part of the protection pipe 1 entirely covering a longitudinal portion of a part of a circumferential range of the electric wire protection pipe 1 and is thicker than the other portion. The flat pipe part 1Y occupies at least a part of a longitudinal range and is formed into a flat shape by press working.
