PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a pneumatic tire that suppresses chunking in a lug groove formed in a tire rib.SOLUTION: A second rib 34 is formed between an innermost circumferential main groove 20 and a central circumferential main groove 22. The second rib 34 is formed with a second lug groove 36. The second lug groove 36 is configured such that one end 36A is opened to the innermost circumferential main groove 20 and extends from the innermost circumferential main groove 20 toward the central circumferential main groove 22. The other end 36B of the second lug groove 36 is not opened to the central circumferential main groove 22 and terminated in the second rib 34. The second lug groove 36 is formed with a pointed tip 36S in which the groove width W5 of the central circumferential main groove 22 side is set narrower than the groove width W6 of the innermost circumferential main groove 20 side. |
