PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a resin hinge cap with a three-point hinge mechanism which hinge cap has carbon offset property, excellent durability and operability, and shows excellent cap transferability in a cap fitting process.SOLUTION: A synthetic resin hinge cap includes a cap body 1, an overcap 2, and a hinge mechanism 3 formed of a hinge body and an elastic piece that connect the cap body 1 and the overcap 2 swingably. The hinge cap is molded integrally out of a synthetic resin material containing a polyolefin having a modern carbon ratio of 56.7 pMC to 118 pMC based on ASTM D6866-11. The elastic piece is thicker at its ends than at its center, and has a position where its thickness is the minimum between the center and the ends. The hinge mechanism 3 contains a polyolefin derived from a plant and made of a synthetic resin material containing 100 ppm to 4500 ppm of a fatty acid amide (A) having a saturated cis-structure carbon double bond, and includes the elastic piece. |
