PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method and apparatus for producing a multiaxial nonwoven fabric, which, when avoiding contact between yarn discharge parts and inclined yarns, can suppress loading on the yarns and can easily avoid a complicated structure around the yarn discharge parts.SOLUTION: The method for producing a multiaxial nonwoven fabric includes an oblique crossing step of reciprocating a traverser 41 so that yarns are stretched alternately to a first yarn hooking parts 12 and a second yarn hooking parts 22 which are arranged on a transportation part 31, thereby forming obliquely crossed yarns 71 in which yarns are obliquely crossed in an oblique direction and in a reverse oblique direction. In the oblique crossing step, the amount of yarns fed to the traverser 41 is adjusted so that each inclined yarn 71a discharged from a corresponding yarn discharge part 43a is displaced by means of its own weight to below a yarn discharge part 43a adjacent to the corresponding yarn discharge part 43a in the transportation direction. The apparatus for producing a multiaxial nonwoven fabric includes a plurality of yarn feeders for feeding yarns to the traverser 41. The amount of yarns fed to the traverser 41 is adjusted by the rotational driving of the plurality of yarn feeders. |
