PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a channel divider which can properly set a crossover frequency in the case of using a multi-way speaker system including a network circuit and allowing a bi-wiring connection.SOLUTION: A channel divider comprises: a low pass filter LPF and a high pass filter HPF for band-dividing an audio signal into a first output signal on a low sound area side and a second output signal on a high sound area side to output the first and second output signals, respectively; and a control circuit for controlling them, and has an audio output mode in which, in the case of designating an arbitrary crossover frequency fc0 of regulating band-division, the control circuit sets a cutoff frequency fcL of the LPF at a higher value than the fc0 by a level of about 1/6 to 1 octaves and sets a cutoff frequency fcH of the HPF at lower vale than the fc0 by a level of about 1/6 to 1 octaves, and the first output signal and the second output signal both of which include frequency bands fcL-fcH are outputted. |
